- Program Achieve – what is this?

At Colac West we incorporate Program Achieve into our everyday school culture. 

Program Achieve is a comprehensive package to explicitly teach Social Skills, by addressing what are called the five foundations (also known as the ‘Keys to Success’):

1.     Confidence

2.     Persistence

3.     Getting Along

4.     Organisation

5.     Resilience

The full package is implemented over a two-year cycle, allowing students the opportunity to access the full range of Program Achieve, at three levels of teaching, throughout their Primary School years.

The program is consistent with our philosophy as a ‘Health Promoting School’ and is supported by the VELS area of ‘Personal and Social Learning’, a focus of many ‘Library’ classes.
